The hotel is older, she was probably at one time a grand dame but not so anymore. Housekeeping was very quick to come vacuum the carpet again but our expectation of a clean environment was not met. There was food remnants on the carpet from the last guest, there was hair on the table in front of the couch and in the bathroom there were several long, black hairs behind the bathroom door. The elevator was tiny and could fit maybe four normal sized people with luggage. The downside we arrived and checked in which was very easy. A relatively easy walk to the beach but only if you have no limitations, like wheelchair, cane, crutches, joint replacement, etc. The staff was so very helpful and pleasant, our room had an incredible view which is what we came to experience.
